I came across this studio shot in a cat folder. Great reminder of dear little Cricket (rip), and also of some lost paintings from 2005-6. They are stacked facing down, and I haven't viewed them in a couple of years. I'm a little afraid of them. They are surely finished at this point (?). I don't accept them as showable work, but I can't quite paint over them. I did pull this one out and am living with it, trying to determine it's fate.

i want to pet her. wonderful colors, beautiful light.
In my wildest imagination, I can't even possibly begin to think about letting our kitten into the studio. Currently his purpose in life is to flick all thing onto the floor.
This cat just gave and gave. She loved people, all people.
Steven, I wouldn't let your Omeed enter my studio, even under sedation.
What a precious cat.
A while back, I went through s stack of old drawings that were part of an installation. As part of the installation, they were perfect, but individually, it was obvious some were ephemera. Some I left alone and some I put some in a Rehab pile. I still work on this pile as a side project.
I guess I've always had Rehab piles too, and it demystifies them a bit to characterize them as such.
Hi. Really like your paintings very much. I've looked at them before, but not sure if I've commented. Must look better later when I have more time. Take care.
THanks Nomi,
You left a comment a while back. I've visited your site and really enjoyed your paintings. I just peeked in and love those collages. Pretty amazing use of materials, but I'll go say so over there....
