It felt so badass to set up two horizontal painting stations in my little 9.5' x 13' studio. I've been using both acrylic and oil in these newer works, and it's a real mental chore to change out the materials. This is much better. I actually "go" to the area to do either acrylic or oil.

Wow, this is great.
Yeah, I tried that "station" thing for a heartbeat. I finally have to make a decision when it's time to go to the point of no return- and not just for one painting, but all of them. Your stations and palette are very organized.I like the drafting table mockup and the ceramic cat.
The organized station bit fell apart this week. I actually summarized what I needed to do to each of several pieces, this was the final act one night. The next day I went muckracker extreme. I never completely lost the paintings, but they became different animals entirely, and the quaint little "to do" list I had made for them was just laughed off the paint stage.
Ceramic kitty has had a rough week, but seems back to normal now. Darned knee injury.
