Redneck Lighting Studio

I needed to photograph a dark painting. These quickly rigged diffusers did not entirely squelch the glare, but helped some.

LaRose, I'll just go ahead and answer your inquiry about rigging specs.

Two swatches of some glistening white fabric I had around, duct taped around one leftover wood scrap and one piece of banner railing, each hung from the ceiling with eye hooks and wire. I was in no mood to finesse.

gee whiz, all I was going to observe was how small "Mount M' appears in context to the real world. Actually, this is a glorious picture of Mount M. The whole composition reinforces it over time.
