Happy little backsides.

Plaster?

Naw, just primed wood. I'm experimenting with boa feather frames. Once they dry, I will use something, probably acrylic wax, to gunk them up and mat them down.

Nothing like a gunked up matted down boa.

I have a painting that a grad school friend gave me once. He gave it to me knowing that I might be able to give it the long-haired pink frame that he felt his painting deserved.

I spent a lot of time and effort constructing an immaculate and funky setting for this very minimal painting. It was beautiful and garish. Zen and Punk.

The only only only down side was it was a fantastic dust and cobweb collector. I mean. . . who remembers to vacuum their paintings?
