Rosebud

Oh, how strange. We just just watched an old Columbo in which the murder uses his trained attack dogs to do the dirty dead and the kill command is "Rosebud." :o

Hope I'm not putting my foot in my mouth here, but this is an abandoned park, right?

It's more of a graveyard. I'm pretty sure these were brought here, but it's hard to believe they can sell them at this point. I say put up a fence and charge admission. I kept thinking I'd find my old trailer, which really was a great style, made in 1974.

I mean built in 1964.

I see the makings of an artists community. Rocktown, yo.

When I see old trailers, I see all sorts of possibilities. That one could reduce ones living requirements down to such a (theoretically) mobile and tight living unit, that also lends itself to modernistic styling...that's cool, but there's also the latent lurking optimism by which the early trailers were developed.

We could set up Rocktown Artists Trails (RAT) on an abandoned rock quarry. For mula, we scrounge for fossils to sell. Or we could make molds and cast fakes fossils, paint them to look real. This could work.

(I wrote "dirty dead" instead of "dirty deed." Hm.)

Do you mean literally find your old trailer, or one that's the same make/year?

I entertained a mock enactment of literally finding it. It's not where I left it.

It took me a long time before I would go back to my old park and check on it, because I knew it would be gone. The park was trying to get rid of the older models, and it was filling up with really ugly newer ones. Big boxes with no windows and no style at all. All beige too.
