47" x 57"This painting from 2007 seemed too unresolved, so I gave her another go, and actually maintained the genreal gist of the piece. I'm conflicted about the blue foreground and upper framing elements. I can't quite decide if these are integral to something I am doing, or if they're fulfilling an artistic identity goal/role. Or maybe my pondering such motivations is puritanical, and I should just get on with the next piece (another rework). I'm letting this one set up and dry.

This imagery reminds me of sets from the original Star Trek.
It looks like some kind of inexplicable gift.
