I'm about to start some new paintings that will be more scenic, as in rectangular pictures, mostly landscape-type space. They will incorporate imagery from my current body of work in a way that, frankly, subverts it. I'm bursting with delight at the prospect of mocking what I just did.
Oh, I've already said too much....

Regarding the Minor Diety [sic] post, (other than the "i before e, except after c" business), it just occurred to me as I read what you wrote about craft and great aunts, that they're like huge tole paintings. (The paintings, not the great aunts.) Am I far off the mark? No matter if I am, I love the idea of huge tole paintings.
Look forward to some mocking action.
Deity is one of those I just keep spelling wrong, which kinda matters when it's a title. I appreciate it being pointed out, because that's the only way it'll finally take. The great aunts crafts thing just hit me when I posted, but yes, the idea of huge tole paintings is pretty cool.
