You'll have a second chance to see Steve Paddack's Redundancy of Errata, this Friday, Oct. 2 5-9pm, at 4 Star Gallery, 653 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis.


These pieces are painted in multiple glaze layers, with unusal color combinations. They are cringingly beautiful and strange, and best seen in person.

Your images of Steve's paintings has me wishing more than ever that I'd been able to get back to town to see the show. Thanks for the good descriptions here and in previous post that help me to more properly image them as they may actually appear to the eye.

I missed seeing some truly fabulous paintings.

They have a lot going on in them. I kept discovering more and more considerations over time and a second viewing.
